KAYAKING -With numerous waterways including Twilight Lake, Barnegat Bay, Beaver Dam Creek or Ocean, the Bay Head area offers fantastic kayaking opportunities. Check out Jersey Paddler to find tours and for rentals.

GOLFING – New Jersey offers some of the best golfing in the country. Check out some of the public Ocean County Courses and Monmouth County Courses.

SAILING, BOAT RENTALS, CHARTERSNew Jersey Sailing School and Charters. Talk to Capt. Steve at NJ Sailing School about sailing lessons, renting a boat or hiring a captain.

TENNIS/BASKETBALL/BALLFIELDS – Public Courts and ballfields are available just steps from the house. Must register times for tennis.

WALKING TOURS – Take a stroll around town to take in the sites of magnificent gardens, historical seashore homes, footbridges, lakes, bays that line the streets of Bay Head.

SEAGLASS COLLECTING – Walk along the ocean’s edge to collect shells and seaglass. Check the tides and get out early.

TRAIN TO MANHATTAN – (2 Hours Each Way) Take the train from Bay Head to NYC to check out the sites of the Big Apple.

TOUR INTERESTING COASTAL TOWNS -(30 Minute Drive): Take a drive or train ride to beautiful Spring Lake for lunch………Ocean Grove with its magnificent and colorful Victorian Architecture and Historic Tent City……. Asbury Park to see its resurgence or just to see The Stone Pony, where Bruce Springstein got his start.  Asbury Park Boardwalk.  Ocean Grove.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH BOARDWALK – (Less than 2 miles away-20 minute walk) Take a day to bring the kids on the amusement rides, arcades, Jenkinson’s Aquarium, miniature golf and more.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS BREAKWATER BEACH WATER PARK – (20-25 Minute Drive) Visit the water park, boardwalk and casino pier amusements in nearby Seaside Heights.
